Residential streets in Davidson are quiet. They provide the perfect place for children to enjoy childhood activities, like riding their bike or meeting a friend a few doors down. The streets are small with huge mature trees along them creating an older town charm. Once downtown, the shops and restaurants provide plenty of places to explore and enjoy an afternoon or evening outside of the home. Lake Norman
and the nearby nature preserves are an ideal place to relax and decompress when needed. The highway is close for commuting to downtown Charlotte, which is only thirty minutes away.

Things To Do
Every Saturday, during peak season, the Davidson Farmers Market
brings local farmers and artisans together to display the fruits of their labor. You will find all colors of the rainbow available in the freshest local produce along with meats, cheese, plants, and other local ingredients. It is also the perfect opportunity to meet the people who grow the food and gain an understanding of the process.
It is so relaxing to sit with a group of people in a public area and listen to live music. Concerts on the Green
gives residents that opportunity every summer from July through October. The concerts are the perfect opportunity to bring the entire family and have a picnic or enjoy dinner downtown before the show.
Christmas in Davidson
is a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season. A multi-day festival throughout the entire town comes alive with music, food, shopping, and a light show and gets everyone in the Christmas spirit. There may even be a visit from an incredibly special person.
Exploring local restaurants is quite fun, but it does take time to get through all of them and determine which is your favorite. The Taste of Davidson
will help you to narrow down your search by bringing local restaurants together during a fall festival. You can enjoy food and beverages from many local hot spots along with other festivities.
